The Lollard Street project is 2 tower blocks, 4 apartment blocks, 15 houses and a nursery. The estate is a new development for the local community which includes social housing, shared ownership and private residential homes. Specification varies between the properties from standard to high.
A challenging aspect of this project was designing the movable wall in the Nursery to include all acoustic properties and structural bracing around the M&E overhead trays. Coordination between Swift Crafted, the M&E Sub-Contractor, Structural Engineers, and the architect required a long design development process in order to produce a buildable solution.
